Well hello there my fellow Harry Potter fan! My name is Amanda. I reside in a city just North of Seattle, WA where I am doing my best to raise my two children as a single parent.

I also have a wonderful kitty named Molly, although, sometimes I'd rather call her a brat than by a more impressive term.

I fell in love with Harry Potter (well, not literally - figuratively of course) in the summer of 2001 when my first daughter was born. She would sleep all day and I was left with nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs and pretend I had a life, ha! My sisters book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, was laying about and I decided to pass the time by reading it. I read all of the first four books by fall.

I was a bit apprehensive to read the 7th book because I knew it would all be over. And to be quite honest, throughout the book I thought Harry was for sure going to die. I was pleasantly suprised to find he didn't. Then I couldn't help but thinking "I hope someone tries to carry on Rowling's legacy and make more stories that are in her terms." and then it occured to me - Why don't I do that? So I am!!

My boyfriend says I need a hobby, anyhow.
